Dear Wayside Families,

The Wayside Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to making a difference in the education and quality of life of Wayside Elementary students. We are a stronger organization when all families, teachers and staff  join the PTA. Your membership fees and donations allow us to sponsor more than both in-school and out-of-school activities and events each year that benefit our Wayside students and community.

OUR PLANS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR
What do we want to do this year?
–Host admission free events like BINGO Night, Skate Night and Spring Fling!
–Increase our teacher appreciation efforts
–Support cultural arts, such as assemblies, Reflections program and author visits
–Plan Multicultural Night and STEM nights, which haven’t occurred post pandemic
–Host PTA meetings with parents and teachers to build a stronger community partnership
–Remain active in Montgomery County PTA and advocate for Wayside and its students
–Donate to KINDH, a local charitable organization supporting Montgomery County families
–Support local restaurants through our restaurant nights
–Provide after-school enrichment programs like sports, art, cooking and chess
–Invest in student support platforms like Generation Genius
